They’re Taking Over: Man Walks Dog Using Drone to Maintain Coronavirus Precautions

Amid the government-mandated lockdown due to coronavirus in Cyprus, local resident Vakis Demetriou found an ingenious way to walk his dog while maintaining safety measures.

In a video filmed by his daughter on March 18, Demetriou’s dog Oliver walks up an empty street while leashed to a drone flying above him. Oliver seems to be taking the exercise in stride as the camera pans to Demetriou, who operates the drone from his balcony.

In the caption of the video posted to his Facebook, Demetriou wrote, “5th day quarantine.
