Music mogul Simon Cowell is on the lookout for talented singers to be part of a new boyband he is putting together.

Glaswegians who think they've got what it takes to be the next One Direction or JLS now have the chance to showcase their talent and potentially be selected by the former X Factor UK judge.

Singers around the age of 16 to 18 years old are being asked to come forward and submit their application with Simon's search for the UK's next big thing set to potentially be televised in a documentary by Box to Box.

If you've got a great singing voice, are happy to appear in the documentary and would like to be part of a boyband - now is your chance to get involved.

Appealing for applicants, a spokesperson for Trilogy Casting said: "We are looking for young vocalists who are ready to take a significant step in their musical careers."

Closing date for applications is Wednesday July 31 and, if selected, you must be able to make yourself available for auditions in July and subsequent filming from October 2024 through to January 2025.
