Talking sex robot has 18 personalities - and even remembers your favourite food
The future of sex might have just arrived – and frankly, it’s a little alarming.
It’s also plugged into the mains.
Sex doll creator RealDoll just showed off a video of its first ‘intelligent’ sex robot – a latex-skinned creature called Harmony 2.0.
Harmony pairs with an app on people’s phones to conduct conversations with its owner – and even remembers their favourite food.

RealDoll CEO Matt McMullen asks the robot doll, ‘How do you feel about sex?’
Harmony replies, ‘Sex is one of the most fascinating things in the world. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.’
The doll has a persistent memory, which allows it to build up knowledge about its owner – and users can select 18 personality traits, from ‘shy’ to ‘thrill-seeking’.
McMullen told the Daily Star, ‘The idea of the robot is to help someone find a level of companionship that they may not be able to achieve otherwise.
‘You will be able to say to her: ‘I’m hungry, what should I eat?’ and she would say: ‘Well you told me pizza is your favourite food maybe you should have that’.
‘Once the robot is out you’ll be able to connect the AI that’s been created to the robot.’
