Tandridge Local Election results in full as Residents' Associations improve position and Tories lose seats
Councillors from Residents' Associations now hold 20 of the 43 seats on Tandridge District Council but fell just short of taking full power with the authority remaining in "No Overall Control".
Across Tandridge, voters went to the polls on Thursday (May 2) in order to cast their votes to elect in a whole new council for the first time in 24 years.
Boundary changes mean that the number of councillors has increased by one, from 42 to 43, and meant that every single seat on the council is up for grabs across 18 new wards.

Going into the 2024 elections eight councillors from the Oxted and Limpsfield Residents' Group (OLRG) led a minority administration with 10 councillors from other residents groups. This has been dubbed as the Residents' Alliance. Liberal Democrats made up the largest opposition party with 11 members, against nine from the Conservatives and four from the Independents. 22 seats were required for any party to gain a majority.
The new wards will send between one and three councillors, depending on population size, to the authority. The wards electing members are: Bletchingley & Nutfield, Burstow, Horne & Outwood, Chaldon, Dormansland & Felbridge, Godstone, Harestone, Limpsfield, Lingfield & Crowhurst, Oxted North, Oxted South, Portley & Queens Park, Tatsfield & Titsey, Valley, Warlingham East & Chelsham & Farleigh, Warlingham West, Westway, Whyteleafe and Woldingham.
Alongside the Residents' Associations, there will now be 11 Lib Dem councillors, no change from before, seven Conservatives as the party lost seats and five unaligned Independents
