Yahoo News Taskmaster's Phil Wang announces new project
Taskmaster star Phil Wang has announced a new project, with the comedian set to host the upcoming BAFTA Games Awards.
The 20th edition of the awards is set to take place on Thursday, April 11, with Baldur's Gate 3 leading the recently-announced nominations.
Wang, who took part in the seventh season of Taskmaster back in 2018, is a lifelong gamer, and said he was "incredibly excited" to oversee the ceremony.

“What an honour to present it on the Awards’ 20th anniversary!" he said in a statement.
"I’ve always loved and been fascinated by video games. When I was about 8, I begged my dad for our first computer so that I could play Ski Free – an 8-bit skiing game that came with Windows.
"Games have come a long way in their sophistication since. I have wept at The Last of Us, laughed at Portal, screamed at FIFA, and Ski Free is presumably now Ski With Ads.”

BAFTA CEO Jane Millichip added: “This year BAFTA is proud to celebrate two decades of creative excellence within the games industry with the BAFTA Games Awards.
"Phil Wang is the perfect host – a consummate presenter – entertaining, witty, knowledgeable and passionate about the games industry.”
Baldur's Gate 3 dominates this year's nominations with 10 nods, including Best Game, Narrative, and Artistic Achievement. It is followed by Marvel's Spider-Man 2 with nine and Alan Wake 2 with eight, with both also competing for Best Game.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follow behind with six nominations apiece, while Dave the Diver and Hi-Fi Rush each earned five nods.
The 20th BAFTA Games Awards take place on Thursday, April 11. It will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch.
