Tate McRae to perform at 2023 Billboard Music Awards

Tate McRae is set to perform at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

It was announced on Thursday that the Canadian singer-songwriter will be making her Billboard Music Awards debut this weekend.

Tate is set to perform her single Greedy, which was released on 15 September. The track has become the 20-year-old's highest-charting hit to date, peaking at number 11 on the Hot 100 and number four on Apple Music. The song has also earned over 300 million streams across Spotify.

Tate is joining a star-studded line-up, consisting of Mariah Carey, Bebe Rexha, David Guetta, Karol G, Stray Kids, NewJeans, Peso Pluma and Morgan Wallen.

Greedy will be featured on Tate's forthcoming sophomore album, Think Later, which will drop on 8 December. The performer is also scheduled to kick off her upcoming Think Later world tour in April 2024.

In addition to her performance at the award show, Tate is a 2023 Billboard Music finalist for the top dance/electronic song for the second year in a row.

Taylor Swift leads the nominees with nods in 20 categories. She is closely followed by SZA and Morgan Wallen with 17 nominations each, The Weeknd with 16 and Drake and Zach Bryan with 14.

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards will be held on Sunday 19 November.
