Taylor Swift's new album in suspected online leak

Taylor Swift fans have taken to social media in uproar over leaked album tracks.

The Tortured Poets Department, set for release on 19 April, is the victim of a suspected leak.

A Google Drive link has been circulating online, which features 17 songs, the exact number of tracks on The Tortured Poets Department.

A snippet alleged to be from the song loml started popping up on X, where Taylor appeared to be singing: "Don't know you super well but I think that you might be the same as me, behaving normally."

Hours after the alleged leak, Swift shared a post on X, simply telling fans: "2 days til THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT."

The singer originally announced her latest album was in the works while accepting the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album at the February 2024 awards ceremony.

"I wanna say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out 19 April. It's called The Tortured Poets Department," she said.

The album's title appears to be a nod to Swift's ex, Conversations with Friends star Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years.

Alwyn was part of a boys-only group with his friends Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott, titled The Tortured Man Club.

The couple split in early 2023.
