Fans believe it's no coincidence the anniversary show takes place on the 13th, as this is Taylor's favourite number. The number 13 has had a special meaning, as she previously told MTV News: "I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks."

For her first two concert tours, Taylor would also draw the number 13 on her hand with eyeliner before each show. Some think she will invite Liverpool's most famous sons out on stage for a special performance.

Speculation was already rife but was whipped up when Taylor was spotted hanging out with Paul's daughter Stella McCartney. Taylor is a huge Beatles fan and said last year that one of her most prized possessions was a special handwritten note Sir Paul wrote for her.

Yesterday the ECHO went to John Lennon Airport to greet fans arriving in the city for the Eras Tour. Many arrived in Liverpool dressed in Taylor merchandise, with customary friendship bracelets on show.

Angela Chairez and her daughter Alexa, 10, had travelled from Houston, Texas, for Thursday's show. Their 5,000 mile journey involved two changes and included a city break in Dublin, before they flew over the Irish Sea today.

Alexa told the ECHO: “I’m really excited. Our friends are going to be there and they talked about it and I convinced my parents to come to Liverpool for this. We’re doing all The Beatles sights today as well, so that helped.”

Carmen, from Port Elizabeth, told the ECHO: "Most people come to Liverpool to watch Liverpool FC - but we're here for Taylor. It's her 100th show, 13 is her lucky number. We're hoping for an announcement - something is happening. 13 is also our marriage day - we got married on the 13th. Taylor didn't plan that - we did."
