Taylor Swift Arrives in Las Vegas Ahead of Super Bowl
Taylor Swift arrived in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon, Ian Rapaport reported on NFL GameDay Morning just three hours shy of Super Bowl kickoff.
“She has made it,” Rapaport said. Her attendance at Sunday’s NFL championship is highly anticipated, given her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Swift finished her fourth and final Eras Tour show in Tokyo on Saturday, marking the end of her Japan appearances less than 24 hours before the start of the game in Las Vegas. Reports of her arrival in Nevada surfaced around noon pacific time.
The Kansas City Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday. Last week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell praised Swift for her support of Kelce and the football league. “Both Travis and Taylor are wonderful young people,” Goodell said. “They seem very happy. She knows great entertainment, and I think that’s why she loves NFL football.”
Swift played four back-to-back shows in Tokyo last week, her first performances of 2024. During Friday’s performances, she tripped while walking down the roof of her onstage cabin during the folklore set.
“I almost fell off the folklore cabin, but I didn’t and that’s the lesson,” Swift told the crowd later, as captured in many videos online. “My life flashed before my eyes, yeah, no, I’m good. It’s all good. Everything’s fine. Everything’s great! I’m just so happy that I didn’t fall off the folklore cabin, you know what I mean? What a great night in Tokyo!”
Ahead of Swift’s first Tokyo show, the Japanese Embassy offered their own words of support for the singer’s mad dash between the two events.
“The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII,” the statement read. “Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins. We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”
Shortly after completing her last show Saturday night, Swift penned a thank you to her fans on Instagram. “Those 4 shows at Tokyo Dome were so wonderful,” she wrote. “I’d missed you all so much and loved being on stage frolicking around with my fellow performers and band again. Thank you to everyone who lives in and around Tokyo, and everyone who traveled far and wide to be there with us.”
