Taylor Swift’s haters make her ‘even tougher’

Taylor Swift says her haters make her “tougher” and drive her to “work even harder”.

The ‘Bad Blood’ singer appeared to hit out at trolls and her critics during the second of her three-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday (23.06.24) as she continues the UK leg of her global ‘Eras Tour’.

Before playing her ‘thanK you aIMee’ track, she told fans: “I was thinking about getting to play Wembley Stadium. That’s not remotely normal (and) it is so insane for you to (have) done that for me… and for my crew because we get to play Wembley Stadium eight times this summer.

“You clearly thought this was a good idea (and) you wanted this to happen. “Blows me away. I’ll spend forever trying to thank you for that.”

In footage posted on X, Taylor then added: “On the other hand, it really makes me think about how every time someone talks s***, it just makes me work even harder and it makes me even tougher. So, it also makes me incredibly thankful for those people.”

In ‘thanK you aIMee’, Taylor sings about a “bronze, spray-tanned” bully her mother “wish(es) were dead”.

Fans have interpreted it as a “diss track” aimed at Kim Kardashian, 43, due to its lyrics and the way the capitals in its title spell out the reality TV veteran’s first name.

Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West, 47, thrust the pair into conflict in 2016 when he rapped in his song ‘Famous’ he “might still have sex” with Taylor and was responsible for her fame.

After a backlash to the lyrics and claims, Kim then claimed the rapper followed “proper protocol” to get “approval” from Taylor before releasing the song.

Kim then publicly released clips on Snapchat from a phone call between Kanye and Taylor Snapchat.

A string of famous faces turned up at Taylor’s gig on Saturday including Tom Cruise, Greta Gerwig, Mila Kunis, Prince William and her NFL player boyfriend Travis Kelce.
