Taylor Swift Lookalike Is ‘Too Much Of A Fan’ For A Full-Time Impersonator Job

Olivia Sturgiss became an internet sensation thanks to the fact that she bears a striking resemblance to Taylor Swift.

But while she has considered her own show and is working on a ‘Blank Blood’ video, Olivia has revealed that she won’t be signing up for a paid impersonator gig.

The lookalike, who actually met Taylor in Melbourne last December, explained that she’s too much of a fan to become a full-time impersonator, adding that she’d prefer to make a name for herself in her own right.

She told Channel Seven’s Sunrise: “I’m aware that it could make me money but I’m too much of a fan to actually take it up as a full time job sort of thing.

“I’d feel like I was somewhat cheating her in a way. I definitely considered it but I don’t know how I feel about it to be honest.

“If I was to make a name for myself, I’d like to make a name for myself in my own right, to rely on my own talent. So that’s what I’m sort of doing with this single and intertwining that with a few other projects.”

Olivia is reportedly set to record the single next week (EXCITING), and told Daily Mail Australia that she’s also interested in acting.

She’s also recently had to shut down reports that she’s moving into reality TV, tweeting: “So apparently the latest rumour is that I’m getting my own reality show and I’m getting paid 5k a week. Not true, but where do I sign up?!”
