Taylor Swift praised her band during her Sunday night concert for “playing live” for three and a half hours one day after Dave Grohl suggested that Swift doesn’t play live.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” Swift said at her Eras Tour on Sunday night in London following a standing ovation. “And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

The comment comes after Grohl told the crowd at the Foo Fighters’ Saturday night concert in London that his show should be called the “Errors Tour” because “we’ve had more than a few eras and more than a few fucking errors as well.”

“That’s because we actually play live, what?!” he said while shrugging his shoulders. “Just saying. We’re a live band. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right fucking place.”

Swift hasn’t acknowledged Grohl’s comments directly, but fans seem to think Sunday’s praise for her band was her way of acknowledging them.

“[Oh] she heard that old man and had to respond in the most classy way,” one fan wrote on X.

Along with responding to Grohl’s comments, Swift also brought her boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage to perform a skit before she sang “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.”
