Taylor Swift References Viral Boat Photo in New Vault Track 'Is It Over Now': Listen

"Is It Over Now" is one of five vault tracks featured on '1989 (Taylor's Version),' which dropped Friday

Swifties are connecting the dots between Taylor Swift's newest lyric and a viral paparazzi photo.

After the singer-songwriter released 1989 (Taylor's Version) on Friday, fans flocked to streaming services to soak in the new vault tracks and the songs they know and love from the 2014 album.

On "Is It Over Now?" Swift, 33, reflects on a relationship coming to an end. She told Tumblr Music that she always saw the track "as sort of a sister to 'Out of the Woods' and 'I Wish You Would,'" leading many to believe the track is about her relationship with Harry Styles.

The lyrics also make pointed references to their relationship in the second verse, including the infamous photo of her wearing a blue dress on a boat after their reported breakup in 2013.

"Whеn you lost control/ Red blood, white snow/ Blue dress on a boat/ Your new girl is my clone," Swift sings. (She's also seemingly referencing the reported snowmobile accident referenced in "Out of the Woods" and Styles' relationship with Kimberly Stewart, who bore a resemblance to Swift, shortly after the split.)

More vault tracks on 1989 (Taylor's Version) include "Slut!" "Say Don't Go," "Now That We Don't Talk" and "Suburban Legends."

Shortly after the album's release, the pop star posted to Instagram to celebrate. Along with a carousel of photos, she opened up about how much the album and revisiting it means to her in the caption.

"I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and a part of me was reclaimed in 2023 with the re-release of this album I love so dearly. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the magic would you sprinkle on my life for so long," Swift wrote.

"This moment is a reflection of the woods we've wandered through and all this love between us still glowing in the darkest dark. I present to you, with gratitude and wild wonder, my version of 1989. It's been waiting for you. Taylor"

1989 (Taylor’s Version) marks the fourth re-recording from the Grammy winner, coming several months after she dropped Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in July and following the 2021 re-releases of Fearless and Red.

Swift announced she was revisiting her Grammy-winning fifth studio album — which saw her first collaboration with Jack Antonoff and major foray into pop music — on stage at the final stop of the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Aug. 9.

“And so now, here we are on the last night of the U.S. leg of the Eras Tour in the eighth month of the year on the ninth day. You might have noticed there are some new outfits in the show. There's something that I've been planning for a really, really, really ridiculously, embarrassingly long time, and instead of telling you about it, I think I'll just sort of show you," she told the crowd as she unveiled the cover art and release date for the record on the big screen.
