Taylor Swift loves surprising her fans and tonight at Anfield for the second Eras Tour concert in Liverpool - it was no different.

Every night of the Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023, Taylor performs a surprise song (or two). There's always much anticipation for this section of the concert as the American pop star will often sing songs she has never performed live before, or mash-up two songs cleverly to make a new one.

Tonight, on Friday, June 14 which marks the 101th show of the Eras Tour, Taylor treated fans to an acoustic medley of This Is What You Came For and gold rush and a piano cover of The Great War / You’re Losing Me.

Last night on the 100th show, the Reputation singer managed to cram in four songs, a mash-up of I Can See You and Mine, and Cornelia Street and Maroon. Her choosing I Can See You, from Speak Now, came as no surprise to many Scousers, as the music video was shot in Liverpool.

Speaking about singing I Can See You, Taylor told the crowds: "Last time I was in Liverpool, I was shooting a music video."

Actors Joey King and Taylor's ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner, along with writer and musician Presley Cash, who worked together in the video to free Taylor Swift from a vault, were in the I Can See You Music video - filmed in Liverpool.

The video features the outside of the Cunard Building, but the interior was filmed in the old NatWest on Castle Street, which is soon to host a new Elif restaurant. I Can See You has already been part of The Eras Tour - as Taylor premiered the music video to fans at a show in Kansas City and brought Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash on stage.
