Taylor Swift has arrived in the UK, performing sold out shows in Edinburgh and Liverpool. But she and her dancers are facing a challenge they've not yet had to face during their nearly 100 performances across the world performing the Eras Tour - the British weather.

Taking to the stage in Liverpool for the 100th performance of the Eras Tour, Taylor's dancers walk out wearing huge parachute-like contraptions that fan out, creating stunning effects before the pop star herself appears from the middle of the stage. But fans at the show were quick to point out how difficult the dancers were finding it to walk and control the material.

On X, the Eras Tour UK account shared a video of this opening moment in Liverpool on Thursday night (June 13), saying: "The dancers fighting for their lives to keep on stage." This comes after Taylor started wearing gloves during her Tortured Poets Department set in Edinburgh due to the cold temperatures.

One concerned fan took to X during one of Taylor's Edinburgh shows to say: "Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn’t it winter over there? And that’s why it’s so windy/she looks cold". But sadly it's simply British weather, as one reply put succinctly: "It’s summer and it’s called living in the UK."

Another video captured the megastar towards the end of the show, when she takes off a fluffy jacket to reveal a bodysuit underneath during the Midnights era. The video shows Taylor mouthing to a dancer while shaking off her jacket: "Oh I wanna keep it!"

But the consummate performer has refused to let the British summer weather - which was as low as 8C in Edinburgh earlier in the month - to affect her three hour show at all. Her energy remained as high as usual during her 100th performance of the Eras Tour in Liverpool on Thursday night, with two more nights to play on Friday and Saturday.

After one gig in Cardiff next Tuesday, the Cruel Summer singer will arrive in London for three sold out performances at Wembley Stadium from Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23. And luckily for Taylor and her crew, it's due to be much warmer than the chilly temperatures of her UK performances so far.

On Friday, June 21, the BBC is forecasting highs of 21C and lots of sun, especially in the evening. There is a chance of rain from 8pm, but this looks unlikely. It's a similar outlook on Saturday, though it's going to rain during the morning.

On Sunday, however, it looks like there could be some rain in the evening, but hopefully by the time Paramore begin playing the showers will have eased off.
