Taylor Swift sent a message to fans as the first leg of her European tour got underway.

Taylor kicked off The Eras Tour last week with four nights at Paris' La Defense Arena. The star's next stop is Stockholm, and in just under a month she will be in UK with shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, and Cardiff.

The Eras Tour follows the recent release of Taylor's 31-track double album, The Tortured Poets Department, and Taylor's Paris shows gave the first glimpse at the kind of setlist fans can expect at subsequent concerts.

You can see the full Paris setlist, including the surprise songs she added and the ones that didn't feature, here. Taylor has now written a message to both her Paris fans and the fans yet to attend her tour in Liverpool and beyond.

The 34-year-old said she was "fired up" to play for every crowd on the tour as she "dedicated" the post to the new Tortured Poets section of The Eras Tour, Wales Online reports. The post read: "This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical! ) and everyone who made these memories so magical.

"To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you - but mostly for the fans in Paris. I'm so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love."

She added: "I'm SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm! " At the moment, the post has garnered close to five million likes from thrilled supporters."

Are tickets still available for The Eras Tour?

The tour is sold out but people are being told to keep an eye on Ticketmaster and AXS for official tickets, as there's a chance fans who can no longer attend will resell theirs.

Third-party ticket sites such as Viagogo do have tickets listed but at more than triple the price of face value. Standing tickets cost £617 each whereas seated tickets are as much as £647 which includes restricted views.

Sites such as Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience.

Tickets could be voided if they're found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk. With that said, Viagogo also commented: "Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee."

A representative from Viagogo reassured during a chat with Express.co.uk that there are indeed some real steals to be had, noting tickets for one of Taylor Swift's highly anticipated UK shows went for as little as £172. They also addressed the skepticism surrounding ticket resale sites.

Regarding the eagerly anticipated European leg of Taylor Swift's Eras tour, a representative said: "We've not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now."

Viagogo, a regulated marketplace for ticket exchange, advised: "Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time."

They further advised fans: "We recommend Swifties wait for demand to settle and check regularly for a listing that meets their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift's UK dates have already sold for as low as £172 on our platform. Also, tickets listed at eye-catchingly high levels rarely, if ever, sell."

Ticket distribution company AXS also warned: "The only way to obtain a valid ticket for Taylor Swift's shows is via the approved ticket agents. In the UK, the approved ticket agents are Ticketmaster, AXS or directly through the venue's website. In Ireland, the approved ticket agent is Ticketmaster."

They reaffirmed: "Any tickets found to be purchased via re-sale on the non-official secondary market will not be valid for entry into the concerts and will be cancelled in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale."

They commented: "Through official resale facilities, ticket resale prices are capped to help combat the inflation of ticket prices and put a stop to ticket touting. For more information on official resale facilities, fans should visit the website of their approved ticket agent."

Websites like Viagogo and Vivid Seats offer platforms for fans to purchase resale tickets from one another. Nonetheless, it's crucial to be aware many event organisers maintain tickets shouldn't be resold post-purchase and won't be considered valid for entry to concerts.
