Teenager, 17, missing from Surrey home after leaving around midnight

A teenager has been reported missing after she left her Surrey home shortly before midnight yesterday (12 May). Laila. 17, left her house in Staines and has not been seen since.

She is believed to have boarded a train and has possibly travelled to London. Laila is described as an Asian girl about 5’4” in height and of slim build. She was last seen wearing a black and white striped top, black trousers, and black trainers. Although the attached photo of her is recent, her hair is now red, police said.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "We are appealing for the public’s help in finding 17-year-old Laila, who was reported missing from her home in Staines this morning.

"Laila left her home address shortly before midnight last night, and is believed to have boarded a train and has possibly travelled to London. We are concerned for her welfare and would like to find her as soon as possible."
