Teenager attacked and robbed by two men in Ayrshire town

Police in Ayrshire are appealing for information following an assault and robbery in Largs.

An 18-year-old was attacked before having his wallet and watch stolen by two unknown men. The incident happened on School Street at around 11.30pm on Wednesday, June 18.

The pair approached two 18-year-old men before launching the attack and robbery and leaving via Lade Street towards the train station.

One of the suspects has been described as white, 6ft tall, and of slim build. He has a beard and was wearing blue trousers and a dark coloured jacket.

The second suspect is described as being white, around 5ft 10” tall and of average build. He was wearing grey shorts with a black mark on them and a bright red hooded top with writing across the front.

Detective Constable Daniel Small said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please contact us.

"We believe the suspects were in the Main Street area after the robbery. We are asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.
