A teenager is in hospital after a stabbing at a train station in Glasgow on Sunday night.

Emergency services were called to Mosspark station just after 9pm on April 28 and the teenage boy was taken to hospital for treatment.

The British Transport Police say his injuries are not thought to be life changing or threatening.

Glasgow Live reports witnesses saw a huge police presence at the scene with CID in attendance, while the area was cordoned off by officers.

A BTP spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to Mosspark railway station just after 9pm yesterday (28 April) to reports of a stabbing.

"A teenage boy has been taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment although his injuries are not thought to be life changing or threatening."
