Temperatures Plummet as Arctic Air Freezes Minnesota

Temperatures in Minnesota stayed well below freezing on Monday, February 8, as Arctic air blasted the region.

The National Weather Service in Duluth shared this video of a cup of warm water becoming “snow” in the freezing air on Monday morning.

The weather service reported temperatures as low as -12 degrees Fahrenheit (-24 Celsius) on Sunday, with the lowest wind chill clocking in at -53.
