Ten brilliant things l things I saw at the Salford Lads Club Oasis exhibition
A huge exhibition devoted purely to Oasis has opened at the Salford Lads Club – and it’s heaven for those who are fans of the band.
The event, set to run on June 15 and 16, takes place ahead of Liam Gallagher's huge homecoming shows to celebrate Oasis's seminal debut album Definitely Maybe.
The Oasis experience, called Together We Fly, is believed to be the largest collection of the band’s used instruments and stage equipment ever put together in one place.

The event was organised by Bittersweet Home, one of the UK’s leading memorabilia companies, offering a series of viewings for the general public across the weekend.
Tickets are priced from £20 for entry to the exhibition and can be booked online, and some tickets will also be available to buy on the door.
The unique Oasis experience aims to covers every release, item, image, and story from 1992-2009, through to the current day activity of the band members. Signed merchandise will also be on sale at the event.
The exhibition has opened in Salford just as 50,000 Liam fans are set to descend on the city for the shows at Co-op Live on Saturday and Sunday.
Liam, alongside fellow Oasis founder member Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, will be performing Definitely Maybe in full at the shows.
The exhibiton has been sponsored by Propstore, Madchester & GioGoi, with GioGoi founder Anthony Donnelly lending a number of Oasis pieces from his own archive for the exhibition.
Here are 10 incredible things we spotted while taking a look around the show:
Whisky-A-Go-Go poster
As retold in the 2016 Supersonic documentary, the band’s infamous Whisky-A-Go-Go show has been billed Oasis’s worst ever concert.
The band mistook a bag of crystal meth for cocaine before their performance, leading to Noel playing a different song to the rest of the band.
Unseen photographs from the Definitely Maybe photoshoot

Noel’s guitar strap from the band’s early days
Demo tape from 1991
One of the rarest pieces in the exhibition is the band’s very first demo tape, which is co-owned by Anthony and Kyle Dale from Bittersweet Home.
It was the very first studio recording done by Oasis, with three Liam and Bonehead written songs being recorded and is believed to be worth around £15,000.
Liam and Noel’s passes from the (What's the Story) Morning Glory? Tour
Item signed by every member of the band
This project – which started in 1997 and finished in 2023 – is believed to be the only item in the world signed by every band member that has ever been in Oasis.
Noel’s original lyrics to ‘Be Here Now’
Original ‘Lyla’ drum skin from the music video
Last ever setlist
The last setlist from the show that never happened - on August 28, 2009, Noel and Liam had a massive row before playing the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Oasis broke up shortly after.
