Tesco, Aldi, Sainsbury's and Ocado do not eat warnings as steaks, pickle and semolina pulled from shelves

Supermarket shoppers have been issued a list of urgent food product recalls by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

Steaks, pickle and semolina are among the items customers have been warned not to consume. A food manufacturer is also recalling chilled and ready to eat bread spread ranges because the presence of listeria monocytogenes has been found in some products.

Anyone with any of the below items should visit their nearest supermarket for a full refund or exchange. No receipt is necessary.

Tesco Sandwich Pickle

Tesco is recalling Tesco Sandwich Pickle because it may contain pieces of glass. The possible presence of glass makes this product unsafe to eat.

The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to any Tesco store for a full refund. For more information contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 505 555."

Tesco said: Please do not consume this product and instead return any affected product to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.

"Tesco apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused."

Ashfields Grill Chinese Pork Loin Steaks and BBQ Pork Loin Steaks

Aldi is recalling Ashfields Grill Chinese Pork Loin Steaks and BBQ Pork Loin Steaks because of a labelling error which shows incorrect use-by dates, making the products unsafe to eat.

Tropical Sun Semolina Fine

Wanis is recalling Tropical Sun Semolina Fine and Coarse products because they contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. The FSA said this means the products, sold through sainsbury's and Ocado, are a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

This recall has been extended to include the Semolina Coarse product. The details are:

Bread Spread

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a warning following a breach in food law requirements. Products produced under the brand name Bread Spread Ltd will be removed by the Environmental Health and Trading Standards Services as they have been found to have not been manufactured in accordance with food law requirements.

The products include baguettes, French sticks, sandwiches, rolls, wraps, and pasta salads which were manufactured under the names Bread Spread, Orbital Foods, and Perfect Bite. The FSA confirmed that listeria monocytogenes - which can cause severe sickness - have been discovered in some of the products.

The products were also found to have not properly followed hygiene and traceability regulations, making them unsafe to eat. Supermarkets, stores, and other catering establishments which have had any chilled and ready-to-eat products supplied by Bread Spread Ltd are being cautioned to withdraw them from shelves and issue recalls for customers who have already purchased the products.

It is also The FSA is also urging them to dispose of any affected products safely. The FSA has highlighted that the situation is still developing and that the list of products affected by the issue may not be fully incomplete at this time. Items affected include:
