Tesco has announced it will freeze prices on over a thousand products until Easter, despite inflation still running at record highs.

The supermarket chain announced the plan on 4 January and follows a similar scheme that ran from early October until the start of 2023.

Tesco UK Chief Executive, Jason Tarry, said: "As we start the New Year, we know times are tough for many of our customers right now.
