Tesco Express stores to close early for England Euro 2024 final match

Tesco Express stores across Coventry and Warwickshire will shut early for England's Euros 2024 final match. The national name has confirmed the shutters will come down early on the Express stores on Sunday (July 14).

It has confirmed that more than 1,800 of its Express Stores will not remain open until the usual 10pm and 11pm time, reports the Retail Gazette online. Instead they wll close at 7.30pm,

This is just before the crucial Three Lions game which will kick off at 8pm. It means its employees will be able to watch the match.

It's larger supermarket stores will already be closed before the kick-off. The decision follows the England team win against the Netherlands last night.

Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins' last minute strike sent the Three Lions into the final, sparking celebrations across the country. Now the nation is gearing up for the huge game this Sunday.

There will be 'fan zones' set-up at pubs across Coventry as well as Warwickshire as people gather to watch the momentous match.
