Tesco issues 'may contain glass' warning as Aldi recalls meat
Product recalls have been issued by two major UK supermarkets on food products. Tesco has issued an alert over a sandwich pickle that 'may contain pieces of glass', according to the Food Standards Agency.
Aldi has recalled two meat products.
Tesco is recalling Tesco Sandwich Pickle because it may contain pieces of glass, which makes it unsafe to eat. The recall is for 295g jars of Tesco Sandwich Pickle with a batch code 3254 and a best-before date of September 11, 2025. BristolLive reports that if you have bought the product, you should not eat it.

Aldi is recalling Ashfields Grill Chinese Pork Loin Steaks and BBQ Pork Loin Steaks because of a labelling error which shows incorrect use-by dates, making the products unsafe to eat.

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
