Those wishing to settle in the UK are required to pass a complex exam known as the 'Life in the UK Test'. The test covers a range of topics, including questions about territories and former Prime Ministers, as well as queries on significant historical and political events.

To become a British citizen or to settle in the UK, passing the 'Life in the UK Test' is one of the requirements. Other criteria include spending a certain amount of time in the country, passing an English language test, and having no criminal convictions.

Meghan Markle has disclosed that both she and her husband, Prince Harry, found the questions on the exam difficult. Meghan described the test as 'so hard' that even Harry couldn't assist her with studying.

Experts advise that with practice and preparation, the test isn't too challenging. However, many Brits who have taken the test without any preparation have found it tough, with some failing spectacularly.

We've compiled a set of sample questions for those who want to test their knowledge. Are you ready to give it a shot?
