A thanksgiving service will be held for Lord Clinton, who died aged 89 in April, at Exeter Cathedral.

The service, which will be held on July 15 at 2.30pm, is open to the public, with an invitation extended by Clinton Devon Estates, presided over by Lord Clinton for nearly six decades.

Lord Clinton oversaw profound transformations to the sprawling 25,000-acre Estate in East and North Devon while endeavouring to future-proof a contemporary rural business.

A keen farmer and forester, his diverse interests also extended to numerous charities, public bodies, and organisations expected to be represented at the service.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nicola.

His only son, Charles Patrick Rolle Fane Trefusis, succeeds him in the barony.

Clinton Devon Estates, a family business, is involved in landscape restoration, farming, sustainable forestry, renewable energy projects and property holdings across South West England.
