The best UK TV to watch this week from Sanditon to Henpocalypse
At Home with the Furys and Shelter are some of the highlights of the week
UK TV this week will see an array of shows begin airing from period dramas to comedies, hard-hitting documentaries to crime dramas.
ITV will be entertaining viewers with the latest season of Sanditon, while Netflix is bringing subscribers behind the scenes of Tyson Fury's family home in a new reality series.

Saturday 12 August, 7:35pm: Pointless Celebrities season 15 | BBC One
Season 16 of the gameshow celebrity special continues, and the new episode will see Anton Du Beke, Emma Barton, Will Kirk, Lucia Scalisi, Eric Knowles, Caroline Hawley, YolanDa Brown and Jonathan Ansell take on the challenge.
The special will see the celebrities test their general knowledge and try their hand at coming up with answers that no one else would think of for quizmaster Alexander Armstrong and Richard Oseman.
Sunday, 13 August, 8pm: The Real Spies Among Friends | ITV1
Following the success of its drama series A Spy Among Friends (which will also air its final episode on TV this weekend), ITV1 is sharing a fascinating documentary about the true story behind the show.
With writer Ben Macintyre at the helm, the historian will examine the friendship between notorious double agent Kim Philby and Nicholas Elliott.
Tuesday, 15 August, 10pm: Henpocalypse | BBC Two
The BBC are bringing a new kind of comedy to TV this week with Henpocalypse, a show centred on Zara and her bridal party who swap Birmingham for a remote Welsh cottage for her hen do.
But things take a dark turn when the end of the world takes place and the group are forced to find a way to survive with only their wits to save them.
Wednesday, 16 August, 9pm: Kate Garraway's Life Stories | ITV1
In the final episode of her ITV1 series presenter Kate Garraway speaks with comedian Omid Djalili to speak about his life and childhood.
The interview will see Djalili reflect upon his early years and how it helped shape him to this day, as well as how he established himself in the entertainment industry.
Wednesday, 16 August: At Home with the Furys | Netflix
Netflix's latest reality show At Home with the Furies will let viewers take a peek behind the curtain of the lives of Gypsy King Tyson Fury, his wife Paris and their children.
Including his six children, brother Tommy Fury and his partner Molly-Mae Hague, the series will examine Tyson Fury's life after retirement.
Thursday, 17 August: Sanditon | ITVX
Sanditon is returning for its third season and the episodes will land in full on ITVX next week, it will also mark the end of the period drama.
The final season will share new insight into the friendships, romances and other struggles of characters Charlotte and Georgiana, as well as the Parker family and the Denham family.
Friday, 18 August: Shelter | Prime Video
Harlen Coben's drama Shelter follows teen Mickey Bolitar who starts a new life in New Jersey following the death of his father, only he is soon drawn into a mystery surrounding the disappearance of a student from his school.
With the help of his new group of friends, Mickey and the gang work together to uncover the secrets of their supposedly quiet suburban community only to learn of its dark history.
