'The Holiday': Who stars in the Channel 5 thriller?
Sun-soaked beach read murder mystery The Holiday comes to Channel 5 this week in an adaptation of TM Logan's novel.
The series sees a group of old university friends gather together for a luxurious holiday at a Maltese villa with their partners and children.

But it isn't long before tensions simmer over into betrayal, which then lead to a shocking murder - here's all you need to know about who is starring in the drama.
Kate - Jill Halfpenny
Lead character Kate has the holiday from hell when she discovers her husband is having an affair with one of her friends.
She's played by Jill Halfpenny, known for her roles in Waterloo Road, EastEnders and In The Club, and for being one of the early winners of Strictly Come Dancing.
Sean - Owen McDonnell
Kate's cheating husband Sean is the catalyst for much of the drama as his betrayal comes to light.
Owen McDonnell will be familiar to viewers as the actor who plays Niko Polastri, Eve's husband, in Killing Eve and he has also appeared in The Bay.

Jenny - Liv Mjones
Swedish actor Liv Mjones stars as Kate's friend from her university days, Jenny.
Her most famous previous role was in horror film Midsommar and she has also starred in drama Kiss Me.
Rowan - Siobhan Hewlett
Another of the friendship group, Rowan, is played by Siobhan Hewlett who has popped up in many a TV drama including Sherlock, The Syndicate, Parade's End and McDonald & Dodds.
Alistair - Aidan McArdle
Jenny's husband Alistair is played by Aidan McArdle who is known for his roles in Endeavour, The Duchess and The Trial of Christine Keeler.

Russ - Andrew Macklin
Russ is Rowan's husband and actor Andrew Macklin has previously appeared in Fair City, Doctors, and episodes of Mr Selfridge and Doctor Who.
Izzy - Cat Simmons
Cat Simmons stars as Izzy, one of Kate's friends on the holiday, and the actor has previously starred in The Bill, Ordinary Lies, and Holby City.
The Holiday begins tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm on Channel 5.
