The Jump Contestants Issued Sex Ban By Channel 4

Celebrities taking part in The Jump are believed to have been issued a sex ban by producers keen to keep them focused on the competition.

Contestants are encouraged to lay off any extracurricular bedroom activities ahead of the televised winter sports contest according to new reports.

Filmed over six weeks, the famous faces’ partners will be staying with them for part of the show to keep their morale up, however, according to Tamara Beckwith they’ve been asked not to get too close.

Speaking about her fellow competitor, Tina Hobely’s husband arriving, Tamara said:

“Tina’s husband has just arrived so she’ll be very tired, that’s the good thing!”

“You’re supposed to abstain from sex before a big race. You’re supposed to abstain for at least 48 hours before.”

To which Tina replied: “Don’t worry, there’ll be none of that. I’m not going to let you beat me.”

Viewers watched Sunday night’s launch show of the series as Louisa Lytton was eliminated.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Adlington has suffered a serious shoulder injury taking on the new to this series ‘air jump’.

The athlete said previously how worried she was upon seeing the size of the ski jump and even admitted to crying just thinking about the prospect of taking it on.

The jump, new to this series of the Channel 4 show, is bigger than ever and the size of three double-decker buses.

Speaking about the new addition, the gold medalist said: “[It] totally freaked me out”.

She added: “I’m proud of how far I’ve come and the things I’ve already overcome, so I’m excited and nervous to take on the jump. I definitely won’t be bottling it, and I think everyone here is up for the challenge.”

Rebecca was rushed to hospital with a dislocated shoulder, however, is now back in the contestant house and recovering well.
