Who is taking part in The Masked Singer: I’m A Celebrity Special?

Franchise meet-ups featuring costumed characters are nothing new but rarely do they involve glitzy musical numbers like the ones you’ll find in The Masked Singer: I’m A Celebrity special.

This mixture of two popular ITV shows - The Masked Singer and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here – originally debuted in late 2022 as a one-off special to get audiences ready for the full series of the former. It invited a series of former I’m a Celebrity campmates to don colourful costumes and try to pull the wool over the eyes of the show’s judges.

Following the success of its first outing, and with a new series of I’m a Celebrity just around the corner, this special jungle-themed episode is making a return this November.

The Masked Singer: I’m A Celebrity Special will air on ITV and ITVX at 7.30pm on Sunday, 19 November 2023. It’ll be available to stream immediately afterwards on the channel’s streaming platform.

Who will host The Masked Singer: I’m A Celebrity special?

Comedian and The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett will return to this Aussie-themed episode and has already teased that it might have a few surprises up its sleeve.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Dommett revealed: “We may or may not have some very exciting specials in the works. It feels like it really worked last year, people really liked the I'm a Celeb special and it felt like a really lovely introduction to the entire series...

“It works really well, and so, yeah, hopefully we've got some specials planned this year - but I won't tell you what they are or whether they're happening... wink, wink.”

Who are the judges on The Masked Singer: I’m A Celebrity special?

Fans of The Masked Singer will be pleased to learn that all of the show’s current judges will return for this I’m A Celebrity special including Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan.

Together, they’ll have to try and figure out which former campers are belting out familiar tunes.
