'The Osbournes' returning to TV as Ozzy and Sharon move back to UK

The Osbournes are returning to reality TV with a series documenting their new life in the UK.

Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy and wife Sharon - who starred in hit MTV series The Osbournes with their kids Jack and Kelly - are moving back to England from the US.

And viewers will get to see them settling back into life in the UK in a new series that the BBC said would be "funny, moving and honest".

Head of documentaries Clare Sillery told Yahoo: "Twenty years ago the Osbournes left Britain for a life in LA. Now they are coming ‘Home to Roost’, back to their family home, pretty much as they left it all those years ago.

"In this new series BBC viewers will be able to follow the family as they settle back into their new life in a Buckinghamshire village… it promises to be a funny, moving and honest insight into their new life back in the UK.”

The Osbournes aired from 2002 to 2005, when the family still lived across the pond.

It was a huge success, performing strongly in the ratings in the US and airing in several countries around the world.

Birmingham-born Ozzy, 73, and Sharon, 69, have been based in Los Angeles but recently announced they were heading back to the UK, with Ozzy saying he was sick of all the shootings in America.

“Everything’s f****** ridiculous there," he told The Observer.

"I’m fed up with people getting killed every day."

Ozzy - who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and has undergone surgeries for back problems - went on: "God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert…

"It’s f****** crazy. And I don’t want to die in America."

Sharon and Ozzy are also parents to daughter Aimee, who chose not to be in The Osbournes.
