The Voice UK: Linda Lusardi’s Daughter BANS Her From Debut Performance

We’re actually getting quite into The Voice UK this time around, and right now we’re making our way through the various debut auditions and getting to meet the (hopefully) soon-to-be-famous contestants.

This year, the daughter of one of the 1980’s most famous faces will be auditioning – former glamour model Linda Lusardi’s daughter, Lucy Kane.

And whilst having a famous mother or father can be a blessing in celeb-land, for Lucy it’s turned out to be a bit of a curse.

So much so, in fact – that she’s BANNED her famous mum from coming to see her audition.

“I didn’t want my parents brought into it” she told The Daily Star.

“I didn’t bring my mum and dad with me. I wanted it to be about me.“

"I didn’t want to only be Linda Lusardi’s daughter if I didn’t get through.”

Fair enough, we guess.

In a pre-recorded segment set to air tonight, Lucy wows the judges - Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, Gavin Rossdale and Will.i.am – with her rendition of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.

Despite her mother’s absence from the show, part-time model Lucy still has lots of admiration for her mother – but confessed she couldn’t do glamour modelling, saying ‘I just don’t think it’s for me’.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ““I think it’s great that women are confident enough to do it and it is what it is. I don’t mind underwear modelling at all. I’m confident in my skin. It’s my job… but I’ve never gone topless.

“My mum obviously spoke to me about Page 3 as she was worried how people would react at school. I did have a few boys say my mum’s a ‘Milf’ but everyone gets that don’t they?”

Er, sure?
