The X Factor 2016: Guest acts CONFIRMED for final weekend

The guest artists, who are scheduled to perform at Wembley Arena for the live final of X Factor 2016 this weekend, have been announced – and it’s one helluva line-up!

It has been confirmed that Little Mix, Kylie Minogue and The Weeknd will take to the stage for the final, which takes place across two days on Saturday and Sunday, airing live from London’s most iconic concert venue on ITV.

The X Factor revealed the line-up on Twitter, alongside the caption: “ICYMI: Our guest performers this weekend are kind of a big deal!”

Meanwhile, rumours continue to circulate over the celebrity duets featuring the show’s final three contestants as they battle it out for the winner’s title.

It’s been suggested that former X Factor winner James Arthur will join forces with Nicole Scherzinger’s Matt Terry, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert will duet with Sharon Osbourne’s Saara Aalto, and Louis Walsh’s group 5 After Midnight will team-up with The Weeknd.

Finnish performer Saara, who is now the frontrunner in the battle to become this year’s X Factor champion, received a warm welcome at her homecoming gig in Helsinki on Monday night.

She previously said of a potential duet with Adam: “He’s so theatrical and we could do a big number together.”

The X Factor final airs Saturday and Sunday on ITV from 8pm.
