Yahoo News This Morning Viewers Outraged As Holly And Phil Present Live From Denise Robertson's Funeral
This Morning viewers were in for a shock this morning when they tuned in for their daily dose of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield only to find the much-loved duo presenting live from Denise Robertson’s funeral.
Really.
The hosts were standing outside of the Sunderland church where the ceremony is set to take place later on this afternoon, with Holly and Phil dressed in black as they prepared to mourn the loss of their close friend.
Whilst Lorraine Kelly and Rylan Clark-Neal presented the regular entertainment and beauty segments from the London studio, the show cut back to Holly and Phil having chats with Denise’s friends and family.
Needless to say, those watching at home couldn’t believe their eyes and took to Twitter to express their outrage:

Denise Robertson was This Morning’s resident agony aunt who sadly passed away at the age of 83 on March 31st following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
