A picture of the twisted kitty torn between going for her scratch post and a bed was posted online by her owner… and the rest is brief internet history.

The image has been retweeted more than 130,000 times and has more than 150,000 likes on Twitter.

It was tweeted by the cat’s owner, who goes by the Twitter handle @aktfps.

Like all good memes, the picture of the kitty in a twist has inspired numerous Photoshop imitations.

In one such effort, Milk-chan is depicted as a feline version of Godzilla, striding through Japan’s skyscrapers.

In another, she DJs with her paws on several decks.

In the rest of the Photoshopped images, the cat can be seen doing the hurdles and playing a number of keyboards at once.
