Thornaby home left 'significantly damaged' after car collides with front window
The front of a Thornaby home has been left "significantly damaged" after an incident overnight.
Officers were called to Havelock Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning after reports that a vehicle had reversed into another vehicle, which then collided with a property. Fortunately, nobody was injured during the ordeal.
A picture from the aftermath shows a damaged bay window and wall of a terraced home, with blinds flapping in the wind as the gaping hole left the front room open to the elements. A police van remained outside of property on Tuesday morning.

Cleveland Police confirmed that enquiries are currently ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the force on 101, quoting reference number 073781.
This incident comes just days after a van was driven into another Thornaby home on Vulcan Way at 5pm last Friday. The driver of the van then got out the vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived, with dramatic pictures showing the gaping hole and piles of rubble left in the aftermath.
