Moldova’s President Maia Sandu told a pro-EU rally in Chisinau on Sunday, May 21, that “Moldova must be a member of the EU”.
Footage from the rally shows thousands gathered in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau.
Local media reported that Sandu told those gathered: “Moldova must be a member of the EU in the next seven years. Moldovans must be European not only in values, but also in deeds.”
