Three juveniles hurt in 1-vehicle collision, 2 airlifted

May 6—Three juveniles were involved in a one-car collision early Sunday morning in Southern Vigo County at the intersection of at Terrier Road and East Dallas Drive, Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse reported.

Plasse said details are sketchy because two of the occupants were transported to Indianapolis via helicopter after being extricated from the vehicle after the roughly 4 a.m. crash by fire services. Authorities have not been able to receive any information from them about the cause of the accident.

The third passenger was transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-endangering.

The incident continues to be investigated.
