Three-Year-Old Ballerina Slithers Across Floor During Class

A young ballerina found a different way to express herself during a lesson in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Footage shared by Brooklin Hawkins shows her three-year-old daughter dressed in a pink tutu laying facedown on the studio floor.

While the teacher explains to the class about positions, the little girl can be seen slowly dragging herself across the floor toward the assembled dancers while her father, Cody Hawkins, laughingly declares the moment expresses: “My daughter in a nutshell.”

The teacher attempts to redirect the young dancer, asking: “Can you please stand up super tall?” to no avail.

Brooklin Hawkins told Storyful that her daughter had moved up that day to a class with new kids.

“She was doing great the whole class until the very end of class. Then she proceeds to do this on video,” Hawkins said. Credit: Brooklin Hawkins via Storyful
