Three people found hiding in woods after police chase through Glasgow

Three people allegedly hid in the woods after a police chase through Glasgow.

Officers in Easterhouse spotted a vehicle allegedly driving dangerously in the early hours of Monday morning.

The car was pursued into the Coatbridge area where it was lost.

Coatbridge officers then located the vehicle again and began following it through parts of Glasgow and Lanarkshire.

The force abandoned the pursuit on safety grounds but cops say they later found the car on the M8 near Eurocentral crashed and flipped over.

The occupants of the motor, three males, were allegedly traced hiding in nearby woodland with minor injuries.

Road cops arrested the trio in connection with the alleged incident.
