Three thieves cut and punched boy, 15, and made off with bike and a tenner

A boy, 15, was robbed at knifepoint in Morecambe and police are appealing for information.

The teenager was making his way home at around 11.40pm, on July 2, on Ellesmere Road, when he was approached by three men.

He was pulled off his bike and pinned up against a wall.

The offenders, all dressed in black and wearing face coverings, pulled out a knife and stole £10 and the victim’s bike.

The boy was punched in the face and his hand was cut. He is recovering at home.

A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a teenager was robbed in Morecambe.

“The victim, 15, was making his way home at about 11.40pm on July 2, on Ellesmere Road when he was approached by three men who pulled him off his bike and pinned him up against a wall.

“The offenders, all dressed in black and wearing face coverings, pulled out a knife and stole £10 and the victim’s bike (pictured)

“The victim was punched [in] the face and was slashed to the hand causing a deep cut during the ordeal. He is recovering at home.

“We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or who saw anything suspicious in the area to get in touch.”
