Erik ten Hag faces a huge week at Carrington as Manchester United prepare for an FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City.

Last weekend against Bournemouth, United were held to a 2-2 draw with Bruno Fernandes continuing his good form in front of goal by scoring a brace. A number of issues emerged surrounding the clash with Antony missing out due to injury while Alejandro Garnacho was withdrawn at half-time with some disciplinary concerns emerging after the game.

The Argentina international then liked a number of X posts that criticised the United boss and as reported by the Manchester Evening News on Monday, Ten Hag addressed the winger's social media activity with him personally. With Champions League qualification hopes dwindling, United may need to rely on the FA Cup for it to be considered a successful season.

Ten Hag chat

With Antony likely back, Ten Hag will be hoping his most expensive summer signing can make an impact in the final weeks of the season.

Against Liverpool in the previous round and in the clash with Chelsea earlier this month, Antony put in two impressive displays, and he may be needed in the remaining seven games. In training, Ten Hag was spotted enjoying a light conversation with the 24-year-old as he placed his hand on his shoulder.
