Check your tickets: $1M Lotto 6/49 jackpot remains unclaimed with deadline just days away
Take an extra moment to look through your lottery tickets, so you don't miss a chance to secure a life-changing prize.
The deadline is just around the corner for one lucky player to claim their winning Lotto 6/49 ticket, which is worth a whopping $1 million.
It’s been almost a year since somebody purchased a winning Lotto 6/49 ticket for the May 28, 2022 draw, yet the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize still remains unclaimed.
The winning numbers are 49258332-04, and players must match all nine numbers to win.
OLG is reminding residents that somebody is currently holding on to this winning Lotto 6/49 ticket, which was purchased in the Toronto neighbourhood of Etobicoke.
“Players only have one year from the draw date to claim their prize,” said OLG in a release. “To claim your winnings, the owner of this ticket should fill in the back portion, sign it and contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098 for their jackpot.”
You may want to check your junk drawers, glove compartments, jacket pockets and anywhere you may have left your forgotten ticket — it may be your lucky day. Make sure you submit your winning ticket before the May 28, 2023 deadline.
For convenience, players can check their tickets from home on OLG.ca, on the OLG App, by signing up for winning number email alerts or by calling OLG’s WIN! Line at 416-870-8946 (Toronto area) or toll free at 1-866-891-8946.
That advice also applies for other prizes — since it's not the only ticket that OLG is warning players about, with a $70 million unclaimed lotto prize remaining unclaimed with a June 22 deadline.
