Tilly Ramsay missing 'Strictly' final after testing positive for COVID
Tilly Ramsay has pulled out of the Strictly Come Dancing final after testing positive for COVID.
The 20-year-old and her pro partner Nikita Kuzmin were eliminated from the BBC ballroom contest last month but were due to return for the final along with the rest of this year’s contestants.
Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, said she was “so sad” that she wouldn’t be there this weekend to see the winners lift the coveted Glitterball.

Sharing a snap on Instagram of this year’s finalists, she wrote: “So sad to be missing the Strictly final - but sadly have tested positive for COVID so will be watching from my sofa and cheering on the amazing finalists from home on Saturday night - wishing everyone lots of love & good luck x Tilly.”
Kuzmin posted a string of hearts and crying face emojis in the comments section.
John Whaite, who is in the final along with dance partner Johannes Radebe, wrote: “Love you Tilly.
“Will miss you this weekend pal. But cannot wait for the tour xx.”
As well as Whaite and Radebe, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice and AJ Odudu and her partner Kai Widdrington are set to compete in the final on Saturday.
However, there are fears that Odudu will miss the show after injuring her foot so badly that she can't stand on it.
Speaking to Yahoo and other media with her foot bandaged up, the presenter said: "I've hurt the ligament in my arch and I can't put any weight on my foot at all.

"So we have missed a lot of training because I can't stand up, I'm on crutches and I'm doing everything I can to try and be there on Saturday night."
