Time running out to give your views on Worcestershire's air quality

The public does not have much longer to give their views about the county's air quality.

Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS) is urging residents across the county to participate in a survey before it closes in early May.

Delivered in partnership with Worcestershire County Council’s public health team, the survey aims to gather community insights to bolster air quality monitoring and management efforts.

WRS aims to use findings from the survey to identify air quality hotspots.

The insights will also be used to align air quality initiatives with community needs, including improving health.

This follows the recent installation of 26 real-time air quality monitors across the county.

Simon Wilkes, head of WRS, said: "We want to understand the motivations behind residents’ and visitors’ behaviour.

"This knowledge informs our efforts to create a healthier living environment for everyone in Worcestershire.

"Please take a moment to complete our survey and share your views before the survey ends in May.

"Your input matters as we look to shape our policies alongside partners in Public Health and local authorities."

The survey, closing at 11pm on Sunday, May 12, can be accessed through the WRS website (www.worcsregservices.gov.uk/airquality).
