The Red Hands battled past the Rebels in their final group game to secure a home preliminary quarter-final, but are set to be without the suspended Conn Kilpatrick unless he can get his red card overturned.

Davy Burke’s men needed to defeat Cavan last weekend to remain in the Championship and they duly delivered with a 3-20 to 1-20 win in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
