Timelapse Captures Blood Moon Floating Across Toronto

Timelapse video captured a total lunar eclipse – also known as a ‘blood moon’ – moving over Toronto, Canada, in the early hours of Tuesday, November 8.

Video recorded by Will Hubburmin shows the moon turn shades of red as it drifted across Toronto’s cityscape. Hubburmin said the video was recorded between 3 am and 8 am on his iPhone.

According to NASA, the total lunar eclipse won’t return until 2025. It was visible across North and Central America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Credit: Will Hubburmin via Storyful
