AP Source: Titans add DE Arden Key, OL Daniel Brunskill

The Tennessee Titans have agreed on a $21 million, three-year contract with defensive end Arden Key, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because signings can't be announced until Wednesday, said the deal includes $13 million in guaranteed money.

The Titans also made another addition to their offensive line, agreeing on a two-year deal with the versatile Daniel Brunskill.

Brunskill's agents confirmed on Twitter that he agreed to the contract with Tennessee on Tuesday. He can sign the contract once the new league year starts on Wednesday.

Key had 4 1/2 sacks for Jacksonville last season and 6 1/2 in 2021 for San Francisco. A third-round pick by the Raiders in 2018, Key joins his fourth team in the last four years.

Brunskill has experience playing guard, tackle and center over the last four seasons with San Francisco. He started seven games at tackle in 2019, started all 33 games the following two years at either guard or center and was mostly a backup guard last season.

Brunskill is very familiar to new Titans general manager Ran Carthon, who was a personnel executive with the 49ers during his time in San Francisco.

Rebuilding the offensive line is Tennessee’s biggest need this offseason and the Titans have agreements with Brunskill and tackle Andre Dillard already done this week.

The Titans cut three-time Pro Bowl left tackle Taylor Lewan last month after his second torn ACL in three seasons and they released center Ben Jones on Friday after he failed a physical. They lost right guard Nate Davis to Chicago in free agency.
