Willow's father Fergus arrives in a wheelchair. Toadie encourages Willow to ask all of the things she's always wanted to know. When Willow goes for a walk to get to know her dad a little, Amy pushes Toadie to share his feelings. After some coaxing, he admits that he doesn't want to lose Willow, but thinks it's probably the best thing for her.

When Willow returns, it's clear that she's thrilled by her first contact with her biological father. Toadie's instincts are confirmed when Fergus raises the idea of Willow coming to visit, with a view to staying if things work out.

Meanwhile, Xanthe takes Piper to The Summit, an outdoor adventure park where the girls are given the opportunity to write out their anger and pain and then leave their feelings symbolically in an abandoned, rusty car before crushing the car with an old army tank.

Elsewhere, Steph offers to help photograph the Backpackers for the Liveability campaign. When David and Leo prove useless, Steph is stuck with Jack as a model. Later, Jack wants to know why he and Steph have never kissed again. When Steph inadvertently reveals that she didn't rate their first kiss, Jack wants to try again. Steph agrees, giving Jack some pointers – and their flirtation quickly becomes passionate.
